# Weekly Golden Egg Hunt ### Overview As explained in [Start Here](/sassysnakes/sassy-snakes/start-here.md), the spooky six conduct a weekly ritual in which they open hundreds of portals to reclaim their golden eggs. You can enter your snakes into the weekly golden egg hunt to try and obtain one of them each week. The hunt takes place over 2 days during which time your Sassy Snake is temporarily removed from your wallet. **Each snake has a 6% chance to die during the hunt. If your snake dies, your NFT is burned and you will not get it back.** If your Snake participates in every single hunt from the same wallet and survives, you will be rewarded with [The Ultimate Prize](/sassysnakes/utility/the-ultimate-prize.md). We will aim to distribute 303 eggs each hunt. In this case it should take 11 weeks for all the eggs to be distributed, meaning there will be a total of 11 hunts. ### How many eggs can we get per hunt? Each snake can carry a maximum of 1 egg. Not every participant is guaranteed an egg. The higher your [Snake Size](/sassysnakes/utility/snake-size.md), the higher % chance it has to get an egg. You can enter multiple Sassy Snakes into the egg hunt and receive up to 1 egg per snake entered. ### What will it cost to enter the weekly hunt? 500 $SKIN and 1 ftm per Sassy Snake. ### What are the possible weekly rewards? * 1 Golden Egg * Between 100-700 $SKIN * Between 0-4 FTM And of course [The Ultimate Prize](/sassysnakes/utility/the-ultimate-prize.md) for Snakes who participate in every hunt and survive. ### What do golden eggs hatch into?
